Bishop Moore Vidyapith,Kayamkulam celebrated its Inter-House on 10th and 11th August in the s school premises after a long hiatus of three years. The auditorium and the campus was abuzz with fun and frolic with cheering and applause for the four respective Houses – Akbar, Ashoka, Shakthan and Shivaji The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Rajeev Alunkal, a popular poet and lyricist in Malayalam cinema.
The school had arranged for a plethora of extra-curricular activities- art and literary events, music and dance performances, (classical and folk) all of which were judged by professionals.
The identity of all the four houses was kept anonymous for a fair result. The Teen Carnival helped the students to regain their lost confidence, especially during the lockdown. The ardour and perseverance of the teachers as well as the student body could be identified in each and every event.
After a neck to neck battle of the houses for two days, House was adjudged the House number 1 followed by House. The event culminated with the Principal, Mrs. Anna Mary Cheriyan congratulating each and every student and the teachers for making the event a huge success.

TRIBUTE TO A TRUE LEGEND
To say that we are bereft does not even begin to get at what we feel over what the Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Kayamkulam community has lost in the passing of our former Principal Mr. A C George. The backbone of BMVK in the truest sense, he is the reason BMVK stands tall today as the center of quality education on the map of Kayamkulam. A remarkable human being known for his graciousness, quick wit, charm and compassion, he epitomized the soul and spirit of BMVK.As a recipient of the 2002 National Award for Teachers and the Derozio Award for Human Enrichment and Education, everything he did was marked by a capacious vision. He was the former president of the Association of ISC Schools in India and was a member of ISC Schools and has co- authored the ICSE Maths text book for Classes 1 to 5 and 9-10 .He was a selfless mentor who shared his passion with his colleagues and students alike and gave them all worthy opportunities to channel their passion. Not only did he embrace his staff as his own, he shared a bonhomie with the schools in the vicinity. His contributions to the BMVK can never be measured in words but every pillar, every brick is imprinted with his goodwill. A relentless warrior ,he fought hard to sculpt the future of our school and today as he begins his journey to eternal peace, we BMVians salute him.

Our School bid farewell to our beloved senior kindergarten teacher Mrs. Annie K Eapen , She served the school for long 25 years. The entire BMVK family is indebted to her for her selfless service. To bid farewell to such an exemplary educator was rather difficult yet
As a KG teacher, she not only mentored the little tots but also made her presence known by putting in selfless efforts into getting to know the students and teachers alike , and made a greater impact. The simple act of smiling at people and with respect she set a tone of positivity for the entire institution. Her hard work has made this institution a great school community where students feel safe and they are treated fairly.
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” -Socrates
