Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Krishnapuram, Kayamkulam is named after Bishop Edward Alfred Livingstone Moore (the fourth Anglican Bishop of Travancore -Cochin (1925-37) who had made significant contributions in the field of general and higher education during his tenure as a missionary in India. The school Managed by the C.S.I. Madhya Kerala Diocese. Primarily to provide education for its members in a Christian atmosphere. However others, who are not opposed to Christian ideals, are also admitted without reference to their caste, creed or faith and their right to conscience is always respected.
Objectives
The school aims at bringing out intellectually well formed, morally upright, socially concerned, spiritually oriented and physically well built men and women for the world of today. This temple of learning is an island of refuge and rehabilitation in an ocean of crisis, highlighting the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of our great nation. We consider Education as an ongoing process from birth to death aimed at the pursuit of TRUTH GOODNESS AND BEAUTY. Bishop Moore Vidyapith aims at activity of thought, respectfulness to beauty and human feeling’. Motivation is given to self reliance and dignity of labour.
Curriculum
The Vidyapith, Kayamkulam is a Govt. recognised educational Institution which is affiliated to the Indian Council for Secondary Education, New Delhi and prepares the students for the I.C.S.E examination at 12th year and ISC examination at 14th year, which are widely recognized for its excellence.
